Ask for Their Opinion
Being the refined observers that they are, introverts are an excellent source of advice about the inner workings of your company. Problem is, their very nature makes them reluctant to share their opinion. To counter this tendency, make it a point to ask extroverted team members for their opinion. This will make them realize that their input is both welcome and necessary.
They May Prefer to Write
When it comes to expressing their ideas, many introverts prefer writing versus speaking. While this is not a general rule, an introvert may feel that writing her or him the time to get things just right, as opposed to speaking, where the chance of blurting out an erroneous fact is higher. If you are interested in getting an introverted employee’s feedback, you may get better results if you allow them to put their ideas in writing.
